Diecast Shootout

Attention race fans large & small, register now for the FLW Diecast Shootout!

Preliminary rounds will be filmed and posted online through MWR Fort Leonard Wood social. The finals will be held live at the 4th of July Car Show. Preliminary matchups will be chosen at random. 4 cars will race each other at once, 4 times. After each race cars will rotate lanes. 

Each race will be scored as follows:

• First - 4 points
• Second - 3 points
• Third - 2 points
• Fourth - 1 point
• DNF - 0 points

The winner will be the car with the most points after the final race on 4 July. Prizes will be awarded to all finals class winners and a special prize for fastest track time in each category and best looking ride (in the modified category). 

Cars that don't meet class requirements will be disqualified, all cars must fit on a hot wheels orange track, MWR holds the right to disqualify cars for safety and track integrity. 

Two categories with 4 classes to enter for adults and 1 for children ages 4-12

Category 1 - Stock

• Class 1 - Children's Class
• Class 2 - Real Make & Model (car has to represent a real make & model) (ex. Ford Mustang, Ram Truck, Honda Civic)
• Class 3 - Fantasy Car (ex. Shark Car, Bone Shaker)

Stock category cars will be delivered in their original sealed unopened package, cars must weigh less than 45 grams in packaging.

Category 2 - Modified

• Class 1 - Real Make & Model (car has to represent a real make & model) (ex. Ford Mustang, Ram Truck, Honda Civic)
• Class 2 - Fantasy Car (ex. Shark Car, Bone Shaker)

Modified Rules: 60 grams or less. Original glass must remain. Stick rivets can be altered or replaced. Interior & exterior may be altered (any paint or graphics must be family friendly). Wheel modification and swaps allowed, but must remain a Hot Wheels or Matchbox plastic wheel.
