Specker Gym

Specker Gym is a complete strength and conditioning, ACFT Functional Fitness cross training facility. Specker will change the way you train. This 17,000 square foot facility is located in the Specker Barracks Complex. It's Fort Leonard Wood's center for Olympic and power lifting. This premier weight-training facility has everything a serious athlete needs. 

  • 100% ID Card Check Facility
  • Children 12 & under are not authorized in the facility
  • Children 13 & up must show valid DOD ID and are allowed in the facility with parent/guardian. Authorized child must engage in same activity with parent. 
  • Please wash/sanitize hands before working out
  • Please clean equipment after use

Facility Dress Code - Tank tops & sleeveless shirts must cover chest and be designed as outerwear. NO exposed midriffs or excessively short shorts. Specker staff on duty makes the final determination in the acceptability of clothing & proper facility attire.

Weight Room

We have a 9,000 square foot weight room that delivers an endless round of machines, weights and functional fitness equipment including:

Cardio Room

Our 2,000 square foot cardio room has eleven 48" LCD televisions along with a variety of cardiovascular equipment including:
