Fort Leonard Wood history dates back to 1941. Take a drive to these historical locations and snap a photo of the listed object or feature. Leave the photo in the comments on Facebook with the hashtag #FLWhistorytour for a chance to win certificates for exciting activities around Fort Leonard Wood!
The first person to upload photos of all features and objects between May 31 and June 6 wins. *All locations are either outside or on the exterior of the property.
- POW stonework at the Old Post Headquarters/Red Cross building (Missouri Avenue, across from GLWACH)
- Bench at Veterans Memorial Park (intersection of Missouri Avenue and North Dakota Avenue)
- Stained glass window at Soldier Memorial Chapel (intersection of North Dakota Avenue and Iowa Avenue)
