Mentored Dove Hunt

Outdoor Adventure Center and the Missouri Department of Conservation are hosting a Mentored Dove Hunt for first-time dove hunters ages 18-34.
Participants will learn about dove management and have the opportunity to practice shooting clays at OAC on 26 September from 5:30 pm - 7 pm. MDC mentors will be on-site for assistance.
Shotguns, shells, earplugs, and safety glasses will be provided by MDC. If participants choose to bring their own 12 or 20 gauge shotguns, MDC will provide shells.
OAC will be providing transportation from OAC to the MDC Conservation Area in Dent County on 27 September for the dove hunt. The van will depart OAC at 6 am and return by 1 pm.

Participants must have:
- Hunter Education Certificate
- Small Game Hunting Permit
- Migratory Bird Hunting Permit
Permits can be purchased at OAC.
